Exotic Mixed Greens
Exotic Mixed Greens | 6-12 Live Heads
The mix includes the best species from our seasonal harvest:
Romaine Lettuce – crisp/crunch, succulent, and crunchy with a mild, slightly bitter taste
Butterhead – crisp/crunch, buttery-textured leaves boast a mild, sweet and savory flavor
Red & Green Oak Leaf - buttery texture, with an incredibly mellow, nutty, and sweet flavor
Lollo Rosso – crisp/crunch, semi-succulent texture with slightly bitter, nutty flavor
Red Vein Sorrel – lime-green leaves with dark red veins, full of complex acidic flavors that bring a pop a brightness and flavor to any salad or plate
Salanova - sweet flavor and a softer, buttery texture or a crisp, frilly consistency with a crisp and refreshing crunch
Shungiku - grassy, bitter flavor distinct from other leafy green vegetables like spinach and chard. The leaves have a slightly succulent texture, and the stalks are crunchy.
Rosie - crunchy/crisp textures and strong sweetness
Keep refrigerated at all times attached to root pod until ready for use. (39˚- 41˚F) Expires 21 days after pack date while attached to root pod and stored within “Greenhouse” packaging (closed clamshell or box & liner). Prior to consumption, the customer must cut off root pod and wash/rinse commodity.
