HOW IT WORKS.

Our hyper local agri-tech park operates eleven farms, all housed inside refurbished shipping containers. Each is equipped with 256 hanging columns, thousands of digitally controlled LED light strips, and a controlled growing system that helps us maintain water flow and administer only natural, man-made nutrients. Our climate controlled farms (CEA) are not subject to weather or elements, this allows us to grow rich, fresh, commodities all year round without worry of seasonal influences.

Inside the Farm

LIGHTING

A patented vertical high-efficency LED lighting system, with spectrums of red and blue, mimics sunlight and delivers optimized growth through photosynthesis and uniform plant development. The 128 lighting strips run approximately 18 hours per day to maximize the growth cycle. They are on during the day to avoid using electricity during peak demand hours and to give the plants time to rest.

CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT

Humidity, CO2, and nutrient levels and communicate with the in-farm controller, then coordinate with air and water sensors to maintain optimal growing conditions. The multi-planned air flow and intercrop aeration system keeps air circulating through the dense growing environment inside the container. This automated smart ventilation controls temperature and humidity with a 24,000 BTU air conditioner in addition to balancing internal and external temperature.

IN-FARM CONTROLLER

Our partners at FreightFarms have created the Farmhand HUB system controller, this application communicates with the climate sensors inside the container farms to automatically adjust components and maintain the ideal growing environment. The app displays farm data and provides quick access to all components inside the farm.
